Summary:
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Receivable/Billing Associate is primarily responsible for generating and sending invoices to customers.
The position also assists with other various accounting functions, such as posting customer payments, collection of Accounts Receivable, and maintaining and updating inventory items and pricing.
Job
Responsibilities:
Generate and send all invoices to customers on a daily basis.
Post all customer payments from checks, credit cards and wire transfers.
Assist with collection of Accounts Receivable, including sending e-mail notices and/or making phone calls to past-due accounts, reconciling accounts, responding to customer questions, resolving disputes and discrepancies, etc.
Maintain and update inventory items and pricing in Sage accounting system.
Perform other miscellaneous tasks as requested, such as filing, generating reports, etc.
Qualifications:
Three or more years' experience with invoicing, particularly involving sales orders and purchase orders.
Strong working knowledge of automated financial and accounting systems.
Some college helpful, particularly with accounting or bookkeeping instruction.
Strong interpersonal skills.
