Springfield, NJ (HYBRID)We are seeking a Billing Analyst for our client in Springfield, NJ.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing processes, analyzing billing data, and resolving any billing discrepancies.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
You will be expected to be onsite 1 day a week but the rest can be remote.
Responsibilities:
Perform billing, collection and reporting of project related costsPrepare journal entries and analyze billing and collection differencesUpdate, manage and develop Excel spreadsheetsEnter financial data in Access Database.
Utilize SAP financial and work management systems, modules FI & CO, to generate billing and collection documentation.
Be relatively astute with basic accounting principles.
Able to effectively interact with engineering and financial associates.
Create basic financial reports.
Have working knowledge with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records and documentationGenerate and analyze billing reports to identify trends and areas for improvementAssist in the development and implementation of billing policies and procedures Proven experience as a Billing Analyst, Cost Analyst, Business Support Specialist, or similar roleFamiliarity with billing systems especially SAP FI & CO (Financial Accounting and Controls modules)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyProficient in using billing software and Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of billing processes and proceduresAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to collaborate and work effectively in a team environmentKnowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards Listed salary ranges may vary based on experience, qualifications, and local marketAlso, some positions may include bonuses or other incentives.
